Started the day by visiting the 921 Earthquake Museum of Taiwan, where we learnt how earthquakes took place and see the damages earthquakes have caused.
Can't bear to leave because the scenery outside the museum was too stunning!
Next stop: Sun Moon Lake
Tried my very best to not snap any tourists in these photos...and I guess I succeeded?
Then we went to this place nearby which resembles Marina Barrage to have a different view of the lake, and was lucky enough to spot a couple having their wedding shoot!
And that's all for Taichung! Moved on to Taipei via bullet train.
I always enjoy taking train rides when I am overseas, because I can take time to observe every tiny bits of the place.
It was already evening when we reached Taipei, so we just roamed around the shopping mall at the station. You gotta try this garlic bread from Milk Houses, which definitely tastes better than it looks!
When in doubt, eat what the locals eat.
First time eating Krispy Kreme, because Singapore sells it at an unfriendly price. Oh, and how I miss having supper in hotel room...
